Rapper Kodak Black was arrested on Wednesday for criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana. This accounts for Kodak‘s cancellation of his Boston concert scheduled for Wednesday night. Kodak was, however, released Thursday morning, on a $20,000 cash bond.
Wednesday night turned out to be a rough ride for both Kodak and his fans. After being stranded for hours to see Kodak perform, Kodak’s fans lost their cool when organizers pulled the plug on the gig. Fans began protesting against the concert cancellation which was totally unexpected and even Kodak’s team were uncertain as to why Kodak would cancel The House of Blues show.
However, when people got to know the reason behind the cancellation, they were flabbergasted. As a matter of fact, Kodak‘s crew, too, were taken by surprise when it was revealed that the 21-year-old’s arrest was the reason for the cancellation.
Kodak was arrested on drugs and weapons charges at the U.S Border. Law enforcement sources claim that Kodak along with 3 others was stopped by U.S Customs Agents on Wednesday. The interrogation resulted in an arrest when the officials got to know Kodak’s weapon possession. He was allegedly traveling with two guns on his way back to the U.S from Canada.
On an attempt to enter the U.S at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge in a Cadillac Escalade with a temporary California registration, he was stopped by police officials who later on found the rapper on weed. Kodak was driving the Cadillac and while searching his vehicle, police found a Glock 9mm pistol.
